Robin D. Carton is a partner in the law firm of Carton & Rosoff PC, and her practice is devoted to matrimonial and family law, specifically child custody and parental access, litigated and collaborative divorce, divorce and custody mediation, adoption, and guardianship.

Ms. Carton is Co-President of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (NY Chapter), President of the Law Guardian Association of Westchester County, Past President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, and a State Delegate to WBASNY.  She is also a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Justice Brandeis Westchester Law Society, the Family Law Sections of the Westchester County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, and the Pace Women’s Justice Center Moderate Means Panel.

Ms. Carton is the 2010 Winner of the NYS Bar Association Award of Merit in Recognition of the Moderate Means Panel.  She has an “AV Preeminent” rating by Martindale Hubbell and is listed in “Best Lawyers in America.”  Robin has been named one of the Top 25 Westchester County Super Lawyers each year since 2011 and one of the Top Attorneys in the New York Metro Area.

Ms. Carton earned her J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1981 and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in New York.  She frequently presents on the role of the Attorney for the Child and other significant matrimonial and family law topics.  Ms. Carton is an active member of the Child Welfare Court Improvement Project, Gender Responsive Trauma Initiatives and Partnerships, the Westchester County Raise the Age Committee, the Committee to Promote Gender Fairness in the 9th Judicial District, and numerous other committees and projects dedicated to promoting best practices in family law and matrimonial litigation and alternate dispute resolution.
